Circular Economies in Local Communities
This research project proposes an exploration of the problems that local communities face in relation to waste management, recycling, use of materials and similars, as part of their community life. The objective of the project is to discover which are the central elements of these problems, characterize them and identify areas of opportunity to make a possible intervention using engineering, design and innovation as tools for social change. The project offers one vacancy, preferably for a student from the Major IDI interested in research, in issues related to sustainable design and the circular economy, and motivated to address local community problems.
